How I did it: It took me 4 days to do the whole road trip thing. I know it took me 16 years to get a license and 2 years to get a car, but if you already have both of those, there's nothing stopping you. I had a week-long October break from school so I flew back home. Immediately, I drove to pick up my best friend. I called her when I was in front of her house, and she came out screaming and crying and laughing. There was only one thing to do. Pick up our other friend and start driving.
