How I did it: Me and a few of my friends started a theatre comapny, and i directed our first play, No Exit by Jean Paul Sartre. It went really well, we didn't quite cover the costs, but we were not expecting to. Got a good audience, which was the main thing. It was a hard experience, as i had to work it around a full time job, but is def worth doing.
