How I did it: i decided to save...something i never thought i'd be able to do! once i saved enough - i figured i'd pay it all off in one go as it was only £600...not the best way to do it, but its the only way i knew how!

Lessons & tips: i would pay off a little everymonth...its more realistic and EASIER to do it that way...i still have my student loan debt to pay off, and thats the next one to be ticked off my list, and i plan to pay that off montly in installments!
