Yeah! that looks awesome!
Question though, I have been trying to do the same thing, my hair is so light it literally doesn’t get lighter when I bleach anymore, but when you hold it up to something white, ITS STILL FREAGIN BLONDE!
My question is, is it possible to get insanely white stand next to snow and make it jealous white hair?
Just curious, it’s hard to tell from the picture, either way it looks awesome, thanks!

Here’s another photo for you =]
If people say it’s white when it’s blonde to you then you’re reached your goal!
I found that I only needed to bleach my hair once to get a very light blonde. But then again, my hair was orange before that. I don’t recommend lots of bleaching. Just experiment with the Gentian Violet some more. And like I said, if it goes purple, leave it for a few days and see if you like the colour it fades to. Which should be a pearly white.

Gentian Violet or Crystal Violet, Methyl Violet etc.
-antifungal
-used for nipples with fungus while breastfeeding, results with babies with purple mouths
-not made from violets or gentian plants
-contains carcinogens DO NOT USE ON BROKEN SKIN.
-outdated medication, not suggested by pharmacists in Canada for any use.
-stains ALOT but can be removed with HAIRSPRAY
-keep out of eyes
I used gentian violet
I had uneven bleaching
I used it as a toner
Now have blotches of grey, white, orange, dark indigo and yellow
But I have less orange and that was my goal.
I look far from fabulous however, any tips…anyone?
Aterax how did you know to use Gentian Violet?
ps. Thanks for the ideas.
any tips lady?

This is what I get after searching thoroughly for some variations of “Gentian Violet safety” :
1. A 1985 study conducted at the National Center for Toxicological Research in Jefferson, Arkansas and published by Oxford University Press showed that gentian violet produced cancerous cells in mice. Since the 1985 study, no subsequent research has shown a similar link between gentian violet and cancer. The U.S. Occupational Health and Safety Administration lists no potential health risks related to exposure to the dye.
2. There have been no studies on or reports of carcinogenicity or mutagenicity in humans exposed to gentian violet.
3. Harmful if swallowed. Limited evidence that this material may cause cancer. Severe eye irritant.
So, we don’t know anything really, except that we shouldn’t gulp it down like OJ, or give our eyeballs a good wash in the stuff. =]
