Diet!
Can I add that diet is probably the most essential thing to ‘[getting] muscles’
As my trainer put it (http://www.neilmct.com) when it comes to the training in the gym at least, the diet, supplement, excercise ratio is about 70%/5%/25% respectively in order of importance.
Nothing puts on muscle (in my somewhat educated opinion) better than weight training + high intensity interval training, kung fu is an excellent example!
I know gym training can be boring, but get a partner, mix up your routines and keep your workout to no more than an hour and you might find the time going by quicker!
Om nom!
Oy, gym training :( Can you do something at home that’ll do the trick? It wouldn’t do as well as a gym, obviously, but my money’s going toward kung fu so gym membership isn’t in the budget. I do have hand weights …
I love the quote on your trainer’s site about there being no limits, only plateaus, and how you need to go beyond them. Man, can I direct that to number of places in my life …

yea, know how you feel about budgeting and such, isn’t the best economic climate at the minute!
I was reading an article in a magazine that talked you through a whole range of excercise using purely you’re own body weight. This was essentially an at home work out routine, but I think was meant to complement a gym based routine.
I’m not sure what and how many exercises there were, but needless to say there was enough
Yea love that quote too, think it’s a Bruce Lee one – inspirational
