How to buy a new cellphone
"Cell phone companies are the used car lots of the 21st century."
How I did it: Long story short: I left Verizon (who I was with) and went with AT&T because Verizon wasn't offering me enough to stay. I started up with AT&T and was given a thirty day grace period to try their service. Verizon called and wanted me back as a customer and offered me a good deal, so I went back with Verizon. I was told by AT&T to send the phone back and everything would be dandy. I did that and still got charged with a whole lot of fees because "they never received the phone", which is the biggest load.
I should have kept the dinosaur of a cell phone I had. It would have been worth avoiding all this financial drama.
Lessons & tips: Don't even bother with cell phones.
