How to get my ears pierced
It made me
sore, accomplished.

How I did it: I went to an actual piercing parlor in San Diego -- a place that uses piercing guns is not your friend. My ears were not entirely closed up from years ago when I first got them done, so she just had to refresh the piercings.
I got to go with a friend who wanted another nose ring, and the moral support was great. I paid more than was strictly necessary, but it's cool.
Lessons & tips: Amazing site for handmade/vintage earrings, often pretty cheap: etsy.com. It's a goldmine.
Resources: Earlier that night my friend asked a guy in Starbucks with a lip ring where we could find a good place.
