How to learn to play the guitar
How I did it: I bought a very good guitar learning book. I can't remember the name
and I've misplaced it somewhere. I bought my classical guitar on eBay.
It is an Ibanez and new. I've since changed the strings but that's
another thing. I went online and searched up tutorials and instruction
videos on youtube. I self taught myself. It wasn't too hard since I'm
already a pianist. But I practiced everyday for at least 30 mins. I
started with scales. And then practice drills and then the actual songs
I was learning. I made sure I was sitting in proper posture and don't
forget a foot rest if you're learning classical guitar.
Lessons & tips: Get a teacher if you can. If not, watch videos online and practice
everyday even if it's only for 10 minutes. Small practices everyday
make a big difference.
