How to run a 10 minute mile
How I did it: Being in the military, physical training is something we have to do almost every day. Sprints, three- and four-mile runs, and the occasional (if we're lucky) frisbee game all helped out.
I get on either a treadmill or an elliptical daily, for about 35 minutes, and also walk a lot.
My best time for one mile is actually 8:20, but I average around 9 minutes.
Lessons & tips: Start slow. Don't give up. Make sure you are warmed up before you run, and remember to stretch!
