How to donate blood

"I was scared, but it ended up not being so bad."
How I did it: The first time I tried they couldn't find a vein. The second time I was less scared because I knew what to expect. It didn't hurt too badly, they gave me free food and I felt good about myself!
Lessons & tips: Drink a lot of water during the 24 hours before you go, especially if you have small veins. This was my problem the first time I tried. Go somewhere where the nurses are nice and remember to breath because it is going to be ok.
