How to tell the people who i love, "I love you" more often
How I did it: I personally found it hard saying "I love you" being a bloke and not exposing your vulnerable side and what have you. Also I'm a person who doesn't take these words lightly. It came to me when my very straight and very sober mate told me that, and I was like "gee dude, what's up with that?" I guess I just never said those words, at least not to my bros. I thought it was way awkward, but then I also thought, if he can have the confidence to say that to me, then I can too. And I knew he was serious that time as we weren't kidding around. Eventually I found myself saying the same thing to my friends and more so to my family. And what I have noticed, which was really cool, was that they also said 'I love you" more often to me, and my mates (of both sexes) are pretty much the same. How about that eh?
Lessons & tips: I guess we all have to learn how to stop thinking of ourselves, be selfless, and just let others know how we feel about them. Who knows, maybe you can make someone's day just by simply letting them know that you love them, it doesn't even cost anything. It's way powerful if done sincerely. It may always be awkward at first when you aren't used to saying it to people who you care for, but really, what's the worse thing that could happen? So far I'm still alive...you can take that as a good sign.
