How I did it: just go to www.kiva.org and donate away.

actually I only wrote this to promote the site as obvious how to do it :)

somewhat addictive or rather it is difficult not to donate, but the great thing is that you will most likely get some of the money back to relend to others. 

Also it is another ripple effect, helping to create an atmosphere of goodwill across the world that we definitely need.
