How to move to Montreal

"Trasfered School."
How I did it: I transferred to McGill, took the bus down, stayed with a friend, found a place (all to myself!) and moved in. A block from campus, but cheap enough, furniture by Ikea, dishes and kitchen supplies by Walmart.
Lessons & tips: Don't lose heart if it takes a while to find a place. A deal can be just around the corner.
