How to learn how to surf

How I did it: My friend took me to Newport for the summer and we found a little surf lesson place and jumped in! It was rather easy to find online, and no where near as difficult as I thought it would be.
Lessons & tips: I can't say that I'm an expert or anything now, but if I ever find myself with a board and a wave, I can totally take it on!
