How to win nanowrimo

How I did it: I have signed up for NaNoWriMo every single year and never won it. I would start out well enough and then crash and burn after missing a few days of writing. This year I was determined. I missed a week's worth of writing, but then I just sat down and did it. I knocked out 15K in two days. I am still not done with my story and I am doing a DecNoWriMo with some people on the NaNoWriMo forums. Come join us if you'd like. It should be fun and I hope to finally get my first novel ever done. So excited!!! Do this people, you'll love it.
Lessons & tips: Write, write, and write some more. Even if you think your stuff is sounding stupid, just stick with it. You will edit it all later anyway.
