How to do better on my sat/act
"The first time I took the SAT/ACT I didn't do very well, but the second time I studied and did a lot better."
How I did it: Once I realized how important the SAT/ACT was in order for me to get into college, I studied for it, and didn't put it off as "just another test." I only studied for about two weeks, and it paid off. Just a little studying can make the difference, and it's such a relief when you have it all done.
Lessons & tips: Take the SAT/ACT the first time to get a feel for it, and the second time around, be sure to study.
Resources: The Official SAT Study Guide, 400 Essential SAT Words, ACT practice test, and collegeboard website.
(There are TONS of SAT/ACT workbooks and study guides at bookstores).
