How to surf
How I did it: I took classes because I thought it was more complicated. All you really need to do for basics is somehow get a board that's good for your size and experience. (you should ask someone experienced) Then get into the water safely with the board. Then when you see a good wave coming your way, you face the shore, lay on your belly, and paddle with your two arms. Make sure the tip of the surfboard is above the water. PADDLE LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT. Seriously. It's the hardest part, but you'll get the hang of it. When you can feel the wave pushing you, stand up. It's easier if you're facing the rails of the board and keeping your feet near the tail of the board, but still wide apart.
