How to recognize at least 5 constellations
"The sky was glorious over the lake over Labor day."
How I did it: Finally had my astronomy book, red light and an open sky over the lake. I found at least 5 constellations - Pegasus, Cassiopeia, Draco, Ursa Major, Cepheus which I can see in the sky now when I look up in the sky. My book had each month and southern and northern hemisphere.
Lessons & tips: Get away from the city. If you use a book, use a red light not white light so it's easier for your eyes to adjust.
Resources: Astronomy a Barnes and Noble book
