How to learn origami
How I did it: If learning origami means understanding the basic folds and successfully folding a few rudimentary objects, I guess I've learned the art. If it means committing to memory some multitudes of complex objects and all the steps to build them, I've got to get back to studying the plans.
I figure I could get by if I ever was in a pinch. For instance, if a pet needed an impromptu water bowl, containers were needed for the kids to split popcorn or if I needed to do _something_ with all those leftover business cards I have stocked up.
Lessons & tips: Never pay for plans, never buy 'origami' paper and never buy more than one book of how-to's.
