How to twitter by DeadWriter

"Quick, easy and painless."

How I did it:

  • Go to twitter.com and signed up for an account.
  • Book mark twitter.com/your_account_name
  • Downloaded a few clients to both my computer and my smart phone, or follow the directions to post tweets from your phone. 

Lessons & tips: I am not using twitter to tell people what I am doing.  I am using it to keep track of my random thoughts, story concepts, quotes, etc...  My close friends enjoy the random posts.  It has lead to at least one story being written- so it's worth it.

The verb (gerund) to use twitter is not twittering, but is instead tweeting.

I went to a free event about

three months ago..called “Podcamp”...I had no clue, what it was all about, I just knew I wanted to improve my digital photography, and that was one of the classes and it was free..
To my surprise, it was amazing, they flew in the best web consultants from all over the country…..Twitter was one of the sites, they COULD NOT stop talking about….
that was the first time I heard of it, but apparently, it must be a great site!
