How I did it: I had always wanted to get in better shape, we all do, but we've become a generation of more talkers than doers. One day I just decided it was time for it to happen.
Lessons & tips: What really helped me was getting a gym membership; I figured if I had to get up and leave the house to get somewhere I would actually do it as opposed to just doing stuff at home where most of my procrastination happens.
Resources: Basically what I need is a gym and my mp3 player ;)
You should have a great increase in protein intake, and I also take an amino acid (BCAA) called glutamine which helps the protein synthesis amongst many many other helpful things.
