How I did it: Sometime ago, my boyfriend and I thought about buy a couple bed to put in his apartment, changing the two single bed he has there. It would be the first furniture to our future home. We search in some stores and found some types that match with good prices. But we had our "dream bed": box type, king size, very confortable. But it was so more expensive than we could pay. So it would be a goal for 2009, when the sales after the summer vacation occurs. The big surprise was the much lower price in our dream bed this week for no reason. We gave some days to really think about it and last saturday we went to the store. There was no more beds in stock, but we could pay the lower price and wait arrive some more in town. The preview to delivery is December, 24th. It will be a great xmas gift to us :D

Lessons & tips: It's important wait for the right moment to make a big decision. If we didn't wait, we could have bought another bed or bought the same bed for a higher price. Search a lot, discuss the prices in the stores. I saved some money and could pay for it without credit card. It gave to me a good discount, and the price was lower. They always engociate when you talk about pay in cash.
