How to read Your Best Year Yet by MamaKitty

How I did it: I set a challenge goal so that I would finish the book two weeks before the end of the year.  I read the book and did many of the exercises.  The book helps to organize your thoughts, values and roles for more effective life changing goals. It is a good tool for a goal review.  And I find reviewing and changing goals at the new year to be cathartic.

Lessons & tips: Take what is useful from the book.  There are many  techniques brought together from other sources.  Answering questions on paper helped me to focus on thinking things through.

I think having read the book over time, allowed the ideas to permeate my thinking better than reading it in one sitting.  I wanted to read it before the new year. For me, a direct goal like "Make 2009 my best year yet" feels right, so that is how I plan to proceed.
