You may have learned a huge truth
Not everyone in your life will love you but many will. People do come and go in this life and it is a true gift to have learned how to let go and not try to hold on to a relationship which is not working. Forgiving yourself is a huge life lesson and will serve you well.

I have been betrayed by some of my closest friends before too, a few different times. It is the most painful thing in the world, because they are your world. But it does teach you the hard lesson of how to be your own friend and create your own happiness. Great job on finding ways to let go! It’s tough.

Thank you so much. :) I’ve gotten over it completely by now, and I do have to admit that it’s helped me grow in a lot of ways. I’m sorry that life has to work out this way, and I hope that you’ve healed, too!
