How I did it: Patience. Knowing what to look for. Learning to say no. Keeping to high standards. Having the audacity to say yes. Not being afraid of commitment. Not being afraid of being alone either. Being able to be happy alone (before the relationship). (How can you be happy with someone if you're not happy with yourself?)
And finally, timing. You'll meet just the right person at just the right time. I did.
Lessons & tips: Don't fall in love too quickly. That's how hearts are broken. Instead, get to know the other person, in a process I call "growing in love".
