How I did it: I always wanted a dog growing up butmy parent didn't so no dog. I had to wait until i was on my own and owned my own house before i could get one and now i have Jack!
Lessons & tips: be patient and realize they are a lot of work and make sure that having a dog can fit into your current lifestyle
