How to finish and understand "Calculus Made Easy"

How I did it: I downloaded the book from bittorrent and read it as a pdf. I bought a notebook to solve the problems.
I just came home everyday from work and spent a few hours reading the book.
Lessons & tips: Do all the examples in the book and ask yourself if you really understand the material before you stop doing exercises and move onto the next chapter.
Resources: A notebook, a pen, and a graphing calculator.
