Would love to follow your guide but I had a kid at 39 years old. Working part-time 30 hours a week! Looking after man (with four hip operations in the past) and cooking from scratch leaves little time, at the right time to go hiking which I love. Might send the tike to nursery on Thursday just to get fit. Otherwise we won’t be able to hike together the way I did with his cousins! Roll on next Sept when he is 5 and I get two days in the day to myself for all sorts of must do’s including gardening, cleaning, hiking and exercise

Way to go. I am the anti-jock too. It is difficult having so little time to yourself as an adult, mostly for me due to taking public transit, I waste all my me time riding to and from work. But you have the right idea. Thanks for the tips.

It is great when you reach there

I never dreamed that I will lose 22.5 pounds in 8 months. When I started to exercise, for the first 4 months there was no change at all. I was always cheered by friends whenever I felt to give up.
Then I learnt that it was the diet. So I changed my morning and night food to only oats,milk,2-3 nuts,fruits and little sugar. I generally used fruits like apple, orange, pomegranate, papaya etc.
I kept away from Banana,Mango,chikku.

In the beginning it was difficult . I was always aware that once I use these I will surely be able to do that which I was not able to do in the past 10 years.

Then in the 5th month I lost 10 pounds.A Miracle!

One more thing i did was, I used to tell myself everyday for 5 minutes that, I can eat healthy diet . Next for 5 minutes i love myself very much .

This also, I did for the 5th month.
Then 6th month onwards I was on auto pilot. Without increase in my exercise, my weight reduced.

It is also important to get a very good trainer who will motivate you. It is not the equipments, but your trainer or you who constantly motivate you, is important.
