How to go to spain
How I did it: Years ago I was a nanny. The family invited me to go with them as their nanny/interpreter. We started in Barcelona. Then we went to a bunch of places in France, and back to San Sebastian. From there we went to Bilbao, flew to Malaga, and stayed in Nerja for a month. While in Nerja we took side trips to Granada, Ronda, and Ximena de la Frontera. On our way to Madrid we stayed a few nights in Cordoba. And before we flew back, we visited Toledo. I get now why people say, "Holy Toledo!"
Lessons & tips: Oh man. If you own a home, do a home exchange. We did two and it was awesome having a kitchen and not paying for a place to stay. We were really lucky as far as finding places that were perfectly situated.
