How I did it: I didn't set out to acheive it really, I think as I've grown and matured I've started to focus on things that really matter.

This guy, he was having a look through my iPod and commented on the kind of music I had on it saying 'This is all mainstream stuff' and I grabbed my iPod back off him and was starting to go through it maybe to prove to him that was not true. But then I thought to myself that I don't care enough about this guy to have to prove anything to him, and I didn't go on.

I regret this slightly

Maybe if I’d have tried to show my true self to this guy I liked, maybe I’d still be with him. I think it’s because he didn’t think we had a lot in common.
Before I used to try and push what I liked through, trying to impress people with it. But I don’t do that anymore because I feel like, they should see in time how amazing I am.
People always say to me how ‘cool’ and laid back I am, and how they can talk to me about anything. I feel like he missed those qualities in me. I associate myself with those things being the real me rather than things I like etc.
