I think...
...you wrote this because you didn’t realize that you can skip this step after you complete a goal (you can come back to it later if you choose).
To skip it, when the site gives you the option to write a “how I did it story”, you can click the “skip this” link above where it says “Why write a How I did it story?” It will be in the top right corner and look like this:

If you then later decide that you do want to write a “how I did it story”, you can go to your goal page on your profile and click the tab that says “I’ve done _# things”. Under the goal you want to write about there should be a link that says “tell us how you did it”. Click it and it will bring you back to the page that lets you write a “how I did it story” :)
