How to create a vision board
"It gave me focus and perspective, and is really encouraging to look at all the time - got me excited about all the things I'll achieve!""
How I did it:
I did it sort of intuitively, i didnt know there was such a thing as a vision board haha!
A while ago I wrote out all the goals I could think of. I put them under categories like 'Relationships', 'Fitness/sport' 'Career' 'experiences' 'learn...' stuff like that. Then recently I decided to look up pictures that represented each of my goals. I also put up encouraging bible verses and a couple of nice things my friends had written about me.
I tried gluing them on with a gluestick but it didnt stay, so I used a glue gun, and glued all the pictures to a big canvas with a painting i had given up on on it.
It's a really beautiful thing to have on my wall! I love it!
Lessons & tips: I was originally going to put this on my wall, but if you put it on something you can move, that will be much easier and means you never have to rip it off your wall haha! Use some really sturdy glue, i would recommend using a glue gun, cause it really sucks when some of them fall off!
Also, I liked putting it on a canvas instead of a piece of cardboard - if you go to a cheapy store you can usually buy a canvas for a few dollars only !
Resources: * colour printer
* glue gun
* big, cheap canvas.
