How to complete disaster preparedness kit

and I attended an Emergency Preparedness lecture during a conference. And then I just became committed to having all the stuff on hand. REI has a good selection of items that go well in this kit, from first aid kits to those space blankets. I use extra hydration packs to store water, plus I keep extra water bottles on hand. Just make sure you rotate your food items out on a regular basis, as they don't keep forever unless it's space food.
