How to speak French fluently by Sarah O'Neal

"Maintenant, je sais comment on peut parler la langue francaise."

How I did it: It was about practice, studying for class, visiting France, and class discussions, papers, and tests. When I didn't know the word for something, instead of giving up and asking my teacher in English, I would learn how to explain it in French. Learning to speak a language is not about knowing all the vocabulary, but about learning to communicate effectively.

Lessons & tips: It is not about knowing all the words, it is about knowing how to explain that which you are trying to say, and getting your points across effectively in a foreign language.
