"Point. click. Sell. "
How I did it: As a large percentage of the items I sell in my "real" store have UPC codes, it often simply takes nothing more than entering the UPC code to learn if the item is already sold on Amazon. Then its a matter of entering info regarding my selling price, item condition (new always for me) and turn around time.
Amazon buyers will often see a line beneath the regular items on the site suggesting more "new and used items" for sale. That is the area in which my items fall.
Lessons & tips: Amazon charges a commission, 15% plus a $40 monthly fee to list items. The hefty commissions cut into profit margins, but the volume increase in sales of certain items has definitely helped my overall business plan. It definitely has become an important additional source of revenue.
