How to volunteer with the Samaritans
How I did it: 1 - Sent away for application form via website www.samaritans.org
2 - Asked 2 friends to be references and posted form back
3 - Attended interview
4 - Went to 6 training days
5 - Then you can just volunteer whenever suits
Lessons & tips: It's not as scary as you'd think :D Everyone is so supportive and kind and don't rush you.
