How to decorate the Christmas Tree

"let the kids do it"
How I did it: I got some inexpensive, sturdy ornaments and had the kids do it all. Simple, easy, safe and DONE.
The cats pull many of the ornaments off at night, but that's OK, the toddler can have fun putting them back on each morning.
Aside from safety issues like "are then going to pull it down and rip the power cord around," I've let go of all expectations, and let the tree be something that gives everyone, even the toddler and the cats, enjoyment.
