How I did it: i went to mexico 4 different times over spring break and built houses for large, impoverished families living in structures that people where i'm from wouldnt put their car. we camped in a dirt field with no running water. it was incredible. i've never been so exhausted, beat down, inspired, joyous, dirty, hopeful, and fulfilled.
