How I did it: I tried to go to a few more out of the way places this year with unique/locally made gifts.   I also tried to not over analyze the process ... it's a gift! If they don't like it or can't at least fake that they like it, then that's on their head ;)

Lessons & tips: Don't wait until the last minute lol.
