How to overcome my eating disorder.
How I did it: Even if I wasn't eating very healthy I was trying not to do the things I used to to when I had pangs of hunger. I'm not an ordinary person as far as eating is concerned. I still have problems with eating in public and buying food and I still think that people look at me and think that I'm a fat cow.
Lessons & tips: Once you developed an eating disorder you never completely get rid of it. Objectively I'm slim but I just don't see it so don't get discouraged if you still have some problems with it. If you're eating well, you don't vomit and you don't take laxatives it's a success. If you don't think about food all the time it's a success. If you're not disgusted any more with you and your behaviour this is a big achievement.
Resources: Blogs of people suffering from anorexia and bulimia. If you have your better day just read few of them. To see that their way of thinking is sick it's the first step. To see that you acquired the same way of thinking it's the second. Than the third is to fight your weakness.
Friends were also very helpful.
