How to enjoy being single by Keeshy

"It was "self-giving"."

How I did it: Well, during the process of getting over an ended relationship (of almost 5 yrs), I did ALOT of internal/emotional cleansing.

I mostly cried (which helps heaps), prayed, ALOT of journaling, and interestingly enough...some yoga too.
It was like craving out a pumpkin...putting a smiley face on it and then placing a lit candle inside...yea, kinda like that.

Lessons & tips:

  1. Embrace the hurt (think of a dark room where beautiful photos are developed)
  2. Know and TRUST that all things work out for the greater good, and you are not your story...BE the Author 
  3. Be grateful for who you are and who you are destined to become  
  4. Most importantly: CONTINUE to LOVE (its all around you, embrace it and share it----THEN RECIEVE IT!)

I absolutely loved your analogies of carving out a pumpkin and developing pictures in a dark room!!! It is so true! I think that realizing that being single can be a blessing in disguise is one of the hardest things for people. I had to learn it the hard way, but it made me a stronger person. Now I’m with the love of my life!

...very much. You learn alot about yourself when you are actually only by yourself. I’m still learning and growing. Though, I’m still trusting that that special someone will come along to share my new life with.
