It seems that your experience was not that good about India but it is place worth visiting. One gets a chance to experience the different things and feels that one has travelled many countries in the same country because of its diverse geographical aspects and culture.

The subcontinent is a vast place and every few days I switched provinces, cities and encountered another Indian language.

It is still a place that is not for the faint of heart, and even though I am almost middle aged, and very well travelled and speak many languages, there were some facets of India that I was not ready for.

it was so bad but you safe you thats good i was also there same year but some before i back than i listen in news about mumbai blast.
i am naturalist in india so i will advise you you make your trip in wildlife there is very peaceful and intresting to take a close a view of nature and nature activites and during this visit you can do some culture of india and monument of india so i think so this is perfect visit for india.
