How to get my TMJ fixed

Comments:

I was going to ask what you did for this headach, but they seemed to have answered, Did the acupuncture help? I drink alot of coffie and rest alot. I take tylonol es and pain pills. But my headaches are so intense. I’ve been to the dentist too. But they can’t help. they said I have a swollen brain but it doesn;t matter thats just the reason for it. I just want something to end it,and not to put me to sleep,so when I wake up the pain still there, and it repeats. If I don’t take anything I scream my head off.I don;t have a husband or kids so I’m not needing to care for someone. So I’m taking up all of your time and you don’t even know me. But did you find a cure? marciagarcia

Acupuncture

I know what you mean by the excruciating pain because I could barely function—the pain was horrible. My immediate cure for my TMJ was acupuncture. My husband is an acupuncturist and he gave me something called “ear acupuncture” where he stuck several small acupuncture needles in and around my ear. The pain started to go away the next day and by the third day, my TMJ was totally gone. I haven’t had any symptoms since then and it’s been over 2 months. I would suggest finding an acupuncturist!

TMJ

I was diagnosed with TMJ back in the 90s. I wound up using a mouth guard for a few years. I had to go back every couple months to have it reshaped to bring my jaw into a different alignment. It sucked having to wear that. I wish I had known acupuncture could’ve been a solution back then. Thanks for sharing your story.

I Do

And I’ve told her that I’d love for her to stick me with needles someday when she is set up to do it. All the more reason to revisit Chicago.
