How to forgive my parents
How I did it: I finally understood my parents, adults in general, can be just as messed up as the confused youth. They all have their reasons for reacting to situations the way they do, we all have a history that makes us the way we are. There's no sense in blaming people for what we don't understand, sure its easy, but not nearly as satisfying as forgiving and moving on. Accepting what is for what it is and smiling.
I feel like a big weight has been lifted and my relationship with my parents is far better now. We still don't get along perfect, we're different and we always will be but I've learned to embrace that instead of trying to bury it and it feel so much better :)
Lessons & tips: Well, I was on acid when I realized that haha, but I don't recommend that.
It's a simple truth anybody can learn at anytime.
Just remember that people grow to be the way they are for reasons we may not understand, and we ought not blame them. We're all exactly where we need to be.
Resources: lol...lsd.
