How I did it: To me, being an artist is not something you can achieve right away. To be quite honest, i dont believe im a true artist because to say that i am means that im done learning....and in all honesty, i have a lot to learn. although i do believe i can learn and ican do this if i try my hardest to listen and see what is around me. 

Lessons & tips: I'm not going to give any tips because the way to be an artist is an ongoing process. If you want to know technicalities about art then yes, i could help. But i believe this site is about learning and growing and im not going to tell you how to learn or grow. And with art, it  is a very personal expression and each experience is going to be different. No one would tell a person how to "feel" music because we each take things in in very different ways based on who we are as people. All i can say is do what you love. Don't let anyone tell you your "style" is not right. Don't let teachers or professors sway you away from what you can create naturally. believe you can do it and don't be afraid to try new things. Challenge yourself because the rewards are amazing. Be confident about every line, stroke, weld, cut, right click, left click, shutter press, undo, redo, style, design, sketch and splotch. know that each "mistake" is anything but, but instead it is a new direction that will lead you somewhere amazing if you have the confidence to know that you can do it.
