How to learn HTML & CSS
"I learned HTML/CSS in an online college course."
How I did it: I took a course called "Web Mastering" for two semesters online, from a college. It was a lot of work, but extremely enjoyable (in my opinion), and involved A LOT of practical assignments. Basically, you would be taught the material, told to practice and learn the material, but you would actually be graded on how you applied it to making a website and formatting given data.
Lessons & tips: Just try and memorize as many tags as you can - that way you don't always have to look them up over and over again like I did at first.
Resources: I have a HTML CD that will do coding for you that came with my textbook, but I just use notepad (on a pc) or text/edit (on a mac) to do my coding.
