How to read 100 books in 2008
"I came, I read, I conquered."
How I did it: It's pretty self-explanatory. I read! I tried to keep on a good pace (about two books a week) and switch between "fluffy" books and classic tomes to keep my interest piqued. I read a great deal of post-apocalyptic fiction as it is my favorite genre.
Lessons & tips: Don't try to read Proust or Tolstoy every week- you'll fizz out and it will take forever. To be pretty frank, this goal is more about the quantity of books you read than the caliber. Read what you want. Read what you like. Don't be afraid to include graphic novels, especially quality ones such as Maus, Watchmen, or Persepolis.
