"A white Christmas makes the whole event much more cosy."
How I did it: I had my first Christmas in Sweden, my new home. It was very unlikely I'd ever have a white Christmas in Bristol, England, my hometown. It felt very nice, but having a Christmas away from your family, with different traditions and ways, it's never the same. If I could have a white Christmas every year, or a Christmas with my family, I know which I'd chose :)
Lessons & tips: If you're lucky enough to live in a country which often gets snow for the winter holiday, just wait :)
If you're not, maybe go abroad for your Christmas. Before moving here I'd always planned on one day celebrating Christmas in a log cabin in Alaska.
