How to go on a blind date

How I did it: My mom set me up with a friend from her workplace's daughter. She showed my photos first. The girl was cute, so I was eager to give it a shot.
We had dinner at Texas Roadhouse (my favorite restaurant ever since) and had a great conversation. I think it would have gone somewhere better if her parents hadn't moved away.
