How to read 100 books in 2008
How I did it: I didn't stop reading. I had multiple books going at one time, whether it was a book of short stories, a devotional, a fiction book or a book for school. I was always reading something. I would set goals of when I wanted to finish a book and I would do whatever it took to get there, even if that meant staying up until 3 am. I would finish every book I started, even if I read others in the process. I honestly didn't think I could do this, because on the 29 of December, I still had 6 books to read. Luckily, I was almost finished with 3 of them, and the other 3 didn't take more than 2 hours each to read.
Lessons & tips: Try and spread out the books you read. I was extremely pushed for time and therefore, didn't fully enjoy all the books I read. If you don't like reading, then don't make this your goal. You will just get frustrated. If you aren't a fast reader, but this still appeals to you, you might want to look into a goal like this, but maybe only 50 books.
Resources: I started by reading some books I had at my house. I also visited the library and used bookmooch.com to find books that I wanted to read.
